Pokemon X and Y are the newest installments in the Pokemon series. This game is a huge step up from previous generations of Pokemon games, as it features 3D environments that players can explore. There are also many new gameplay elements, such as Mega Evolutions and Fairy type Pokémon. Not only does this game have some great new features though, but it also has plenty of nostalgic moments for those who played older versions of the games. For example, there is now an all-new look to see what your character sees in their eye when they enter battle mode! This blog post will tell you 11 facts about Pokemon X and Y that you might not know yet!
The latest installment of the Pokemon franchise, X and Y are set in a region called Kalos. The region is based on France and has many landmarks that mirror those found in Europe. Some people who played the game said they felt like they had been to Paris or Berlin while playing this game! In this blog post, you will learn 11 facts about Pokemon X and Y.
The Pokemon Company has released a slew of new information about their newest game, Pokemon X and Y. The game will be available October 12th for 3DS, with features including the ability to play as a girl character for the first time in this series’ history. This release is going to be huge!
There are over 100 new pokemon available for you to collect and battle.
The games have mega evolutions! These allow pokemon that already exist in the game, like charizard or blastoise, to evolve into even more powerful versions of themselves with a little help from their trainer’s Mega Stone.
Pokemon X and Y has plenty of aesthetic changes as well. For instance, all trainers now wear clothes instead of being fully nude (shocking!). And they’re no longer called gym leaders but rather “Elite Four”. There is also a completely redesigned region which includes two new areas: Lumiose City and Kalos Region League (where Pokemon battles happen).
You can trade pokemon through wifi connection using Nintendo DS communication.
Pokemon X and Y are split into two different regions, Kalosian Region (where you start) and Lumiose City. The region is now only four times larger than pokemon Black/White so there’s more detail in the environment and less need to trek through empty space like before.
The soundtrack for Pokemon X/Y will be composed by Shota Kageyama, an artist who has been with Game Freak since 2009 on games such as Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold SoulSilver plus HGSS Battle Revolution!
Kalos is based off of France which explains why many of its towns have a french name or feel – Coumarine City is especially European looking while Laverre Town contrasts that style with a more rustic feel.
The starters have been redesigned to be more in line with their original designs. For example, Chespin has the vine tail it had when it was first created but lost in later games and Fennekin is based on its anime design (it’s brown!) – while Froakie returns as a blue water type pokemon just like before!
Pokemon who can evolve now do so at level 36 instead of 50 which means that many evolutions will happen faster than they normally would. This also applies for Eevee who can now turn into Jolteon by levelling up during daytime or Evelyn if you place her under your active party after nightfall!
A new feature called Mega Evolution allows pokemon to transform into a more powerful version of themselves. A pokemon can only Mega Evolve once per battle and they will be unable to do so again until after it’s been in your PC!
The Dream World is back but with some new additions, the most notable being that you’re able to explore other people’s dreams as well as submitting one of your own which could lead on an adventure for those who enter them!
And finally, there are over 100 Pokemon from previous games that have returned plus many new ones introduced this generation too meaning there’ll never be a shortage of pokemon ever again!
