Civ 5 is one of the most popular strategy games out there, with over 20 million units sold. The game has been around since 1991, and it’s still going strong today. Civ5 is a turn based game where players take turns moving around the map and trying to capture other player’s cities in order to win. This article will rank each civ according to tier, which are S Tier (The best), A Tier (Really good), B Tier (Good) C Tier (Decent).
How do you create a tier list? A common way is to rank the champions in order of their ability, with Tier S at the top and Tier F at the bottom. However, this post won’t be doing that because there are many civs who deserve recognition for being strong on certain maps or under specific circumstances. Instead we will look at four tiers: Top Priority Champions (Tier A), Strong but not unbeatable Makers (Tier B). Viable Icons (Tier C) Minor Stars (Tier D)

In order to unlock the Egyptian civilization, you must first research Construction. After researching it, a new option will appear in your Champion menu called “Play as Egypt”. Click on this and then select one of the six available leaders: Almeria (I), Amenophis III (), Cleopatra VII (), Ramesses II (), Ramses III () or Sety I (). Once unlocked, Egyptian Civilization brings some very powerful abilities with them such as building Wonders using Faith instead of Gold and being able to produce culture from any tile that is near Deserts. Their most distinctive bonus is their ability to trade resources for gold which can help save up money when trying to build several wonders at once.
