Article Body: When you are playing Azur Lane, it is important to know which ship is the best for your play style. There are five different classes of ships that range in power and ability. Knowing what each class does will help you make a better decision when choosing which one fits your needs. This list includes all of the newest and best ships!
Artillery Ships- Artillery ships have high firepower with low mobility and armor but this makes them excellent at eliminating enemy bases as they can deal massive damage from afar before their enemies even get into firing distance. The downside? They take a long time to reload so use these only when needed!
Destroyers- Destroyers specialize in dealing tons of rapid fire damage directly to a target. They can also harass the enemy by flanking and attacking from behind to catch them off guard. The downside? Destroyers are most effective when paired with a slower but more heavily armored ship so they will often be surrounded in combat against multiple foes if you’re not careful!
Fighters- Fighters specialize in spreading damage across all enemies at once with their wide area attack abilities, making them an excellent choice for dealing with strong enemies that have low odds of being killed outright like bosses or other powerful ships who can’t kill fighters fast enough before they retreat back into safe range again. However, these aren’t very good for fighting small groups as it takes too much time to charge up another large attack!
Cruisers- Cruisers have been buffed since the last patch and make a good mid-range fighter. They have more HP than destroyers but less mobility, so you’ll need to pay attention to your positioning if you want them to be at their most effective!
Battleships- Battleships are slow moving ships that can dish out some serious damage with powerful long range attacks. The downside? There’s not many of these available in Azur Lane right now and they’re also very vulnerable at close range as they don’t do much back against enemy fighters who get near them.
Carriers- Carriers are primarily support ships for other ships by calling down airstrikes or healing nearby allies over time. These aren’t particularly strong on their own, but they can be really useful for protecting your more valuable ships.
Destroyers- Destroyers are the bread and butter of any fleet, able to dish out a lot of damage at close range with their rapid firing guns. The downside? Fighters will tear them up quickly if they get too close!
Seaplane Tenders: These support vessels act as mobile airfields on water, allowing you to refuel fighters mid battle or repair damaged ones while staying in combat. They’re best used when working together with other ship types – like destroyers who’ll draw enemy fire so planes from friendly seaplanes tenders can go about their business unmolested by enemy bombers!
Aircraft Carriers- Aircraft carriers are an offensive variation of regular aircraft tenders. They’re best used to provide a safe zone from which you can launch your planes into enemy territory, or cover friendly ships with fighter escorts. The downside? Again, they must be well protected as their loss will cripple the fleet!
Cruisers- Cruisers are versatile warships that excel at long range engagements and trading shots with other heavy hitters like battleships and carriers. Their guns have good armor penetration but do not fire quickly enough for shorter ranges – instead relying on accurate gunnery to take down incoming bombers before they get too close.
Battleships- These leviathans of the ocean trade speed (and maneuverability) for overwhelming firepower. Battleships rule in open water where fighters cannot reach them, but beware of torpedoes and their low speed.
Carriers- Carriers are the ultimate in naval might – with no less than three decks of aircraft, carriers can unleash a terrifying swarm of planes to obliterate enemy fleets from long range. They also have powerful anti-aircraft guns for defending against pesky fighters that try to take down its precious deckhands!
Bombers- Bombers excel at sinking ships below the waves by dropping two bombs on each target per run or destroying an entire convoy outright when unescorted. However, they must fly through deadly flak fire and risk being shot down before reaching their targets…
Fighters- These agile interceptors swoop out of nowhere to tear apart bombers droning overhead while escorting friendly.
