It’s been a few weeks since I’ve had my ice maker cleaned out, but it seems to still be working. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to get that thing clean, but I do know that if you want to get the job done and have it done right, it can be quite a chore.
My ice maker is made of a hard rubber material that is made to slide around in any kind of liquid. So I think the best way to clean it is to squeeze it for a couple of minutes and then slide it across the kitchen floor. This is probably best done in the garage though. Because there are some places where the ice maker might stick. Not so much in the kitchen though, which is what it started out as.
I’m sure it sucks that you’re trying to clean your ice maker, but there’s a lot that can be done just to ensure that it doesn’t fall apart. The easiest thing to do is just to replace the blades. Because if you have to replace the blades, you have to replace the motor also. Which means that you have to replace the entire ice maker, which is a hassle.
It is, however, an excellent example of how simple things can be undone in our world. The ice maker is a simple, straightforward, and affordable piece of equipment, but it is what makes it so easy to make ice. So how do we clean the ice maker? Well, first, we have to clean the blades. Then we have to clean the motor. Then we have to replace the blades and the motor (which is a hassle).

That’s a lot of steps and a lot of water, but it’s basically a lot of water and effort that we don’t even have to think about, and when the water runs out, we have to manually flushing the motor again. This is why we call it “cleaning”.

I still think putting the motor out of its misery is a bad idea. In fact it is a bad idea because the blades of the ice maker can be damaged if you’re not careful because the water will get all over them and it can cause them to break. It also means that if you put a big enough amount of water in the water pump at once, you will probably get water everywhere if not the motor itself.
Ice makers are a great way to reduce your water bill, and by using them, you are also saving yourself a little bit of money. Because they are a closed circuit, the water you put in them will get all over them. Although the water gets warm and turns to ice, the ice maker itself will probably survive because its blades are just too thin to break.
