Dean’s list is an award given to students who have excelled academically at the University of Wisconsin Madison. What Makes Someone Eligible for Dean’s List Status?
For a student to be named as one of UW-Madison’s most elite scholars, they must first have the following: good grades in all their classes with an average GPA greater than or equal to .95; and no more than five absences (written excuse required). Students can apply for this honor by filling out two forms and submitting them electronically through CougarTrack. One form is used for academic data while another tracks attendance records. Once these are submitted, students will receive notification that they’re eligible after a short wait period before being officially announced! Be sure not to miss anything while you’re waiting for the Dean’s List to be announced.
