We can’t help you with this. It could be that your dishwasher is not cleaning the top rack because it can’t handle the whole rack of things. However, it can probably be that when you’re cleaning the top rack, you do not clean the outer top rack so much.
This is a common problem – if you’re using a dishwasher that is not cleaned with the top rack then you are likely to have some dirty stuff on the bottom of your dishwasher that you do not want to put in the top rack. In this case, most likely the bottom rack is just full of water but the top rack is full of dirty stuff.
Many of the things that cause food to fall off the rack are not really food. Since it’s a good cleanable surface to remove food from, it’s a good idea to use a dishwasher that has several of the items below it.
So a dishwasher that has more than one item below the rack is a good idea. A dishwasher that gets only some of a certain food that is on the rack is a bad idea. I’d say that the bottom rack of a dishwasher is the way to go for most people.
It is my own personal opinion that the top rack of most dishwashers is the only way to go. Its not really that dirty, it is actually good for cleaning up a lot of food debris. We have a dishwasher that doesnt clean the whole rack, but its nice to have a dishwasher that cleans the top rack for dishes that are not very clean.
Why does it need to be clean? Because it’s not like you just clean the floor, but if you want to clean the top rack, you need to clean the bottom rack. That is one reason you might want to clean the bottom rack.
Dishwashers are great appliances. They do all kinds of things for us, like making the cleanest, driest, and most comfortable dishes imaginable, but when it comes to the top rack, they are really just a glorified garbage can that cleans things up by putting them in it.
Dishwashers are a great appliance for one thing, but it would be a terrible thing to let them just be a glorified garbage can that cleans things up by putting them in it. The last thing you should ever do is leave the bottom rack dirty. You don’t want the dishes in it to stick to the bottom rags. As a matter of fact, you should never ever want the dishes in it to stick to the bottom rags.
I had a dishwasher which I put my dishes in, set the timer on, and left it running for three hours. The bottom rack was always clean, no matter how much time I left it running. I have a similar dishwasher in my condo which I use for the same reason. It’s not in the kitchen and it only gets used for one thing – putting dishes in.
This issue is more of a nuisance to me as a user who wants to clean her dishwasher when its not in use. I’m not sure how this happened, but I’ve seen other people running the dishwasher while the dishwasher is on and then dumping the dishes in the sink/dishwasher when it’s not in use. I have a dishwasher which does a bit better job of this, but a dishwasher is not a garbage disposal.
