If you’re a fan of the Pokémon fighting games, then you know that there are so many different characters to choose from. Which one is your favorite? Is it Pikachu, Charizard or Lucario? It’s hard to make a decision! Lucky for us, some people have created Tier Lists that rank these fighters based on their power and abilities. In this article we’ll be looking at Pokken DX tier lists and see which Pokémon come out on top!
Pikachu, ranked #PW+ (perfect), is the best all around character in Pokken. He’s got a good range of speed and power as well as moves that cover multiple ranges including one to hit airborne opponents! Plus his super move has invincibility frames at the start so you can get out of tight spots with ease!
Charizard ranks higher than any other Pokémon on this list with an incredible three perfect tiers. Charizard also has powerful sweeping abilities and access to plenty of combo chains for maximum damage output which makes him an ideal choice if your playstyle is more defensive or offensive alike. His only downside? Low defense stats make it tough against characters who specialize in ranged attacks like Lucario or Mewtwo.
Lucario is a solid choice for players who prefer to battle at close range with aggressive tactics. His speed and combo potential can be hard to match if you’re not careful, but he’s susceptible to long ranged attacks in the hands of an experienced player so don’t get too carried away rushing your opponent!

Mewtwo is the perfect Pokémon for fighting games if you prefer a more strategic approach. He has some of the most reliable ranged attacks in this game, and he can cover large distances with ease thanks to his enormous size!
Lucario is a solid Pokémon if you’re more of an aggressive player. He has the longest ranged attack in this game, and his attacks deal high damage even from afar!
Gengar can be difficult to play against thanks to his ability to phase through opponents with ease. You don’t want him pestering your fighter while they’re trying to charge up for their long range attack!
This is a list of every single pokken game tier, from the worst to best. This includes all possible modes and difficulties. Please note that we are not taking factors such as weight or size into account for these tiers. These will be based solely on gameplay mechanics and statistics! That being said, let’s get started with…
Tier 20 – Mewtwo (Standard) – He has some of the most reliable ranged attacks in this game, but he suffers heavily against anything other than another Psychic type because they can just phase right through him without any difficulty whatsoever! His stats suffer mightily as well, which means he can’t really deal with anything without some help.
Tier 19 – Lucario (Standard) – He’s the last of the three Psychic types in this game and unfortunately is one of the worst fighters overall! His stats are alright but his attacks just aren’t powerful enough to make up for how awful most of them are! Most people don’t bother fighting as him because they know it will be a hard fight.
Tier 18 – Machamp (Easy) – The best thing about Machamp is that he has an infinite combo set-up if you use Counter or Heavy Slam on your opponent after knocking them into the air. This works against any fighter who doesn’t have strong ranged attack options like Nia.
Tier 17 – Mewtwo (Standard) – He’s the most powerful of all six Pokémon fighters and he has a pretty devastating Mega-Evolution that grants him even more power. Unfortunately, his stats are so bad it doesn’t really matter! Most people don’t bother fighting as him because they know it will be a hard fight.
Tier 16 – Gengar (Challenge) – His Dark Pulse is incredibly useful for keeping your opponent at bay while you figure out what to do next or get in some free damage with Shadow Claw. It also helps that he can teleport over gaps on stages which make dealing with ranged attackers much easier than if you were using another fighter like Machamp who doesn’t have this ability.
Tier 15 – Machamp (Standard) – His best feature is being able to do huge damage with his Karate Chop attack. He also has a great grab move in Seismic Toss that can be used as a combo finisher or for getting out of tricky situations. Unfortunately, he’s not the quickest fighter and will often get hit when trying to rush an opponent down which makes him difficult to play against more mobile players like Mewtwo.
Tier 14 – Nia (Challenge) – She’s got some really good range on her attacks so she plays pretty well defensively at first but it usually doesn’t take long before opponents figure out how much they need to watch their step.
