The last thing I want is my mechanicals to be a dirty mess. This is something I have to be careful of because I don’t want to be the one who’s responsible for keeping it so. So I’ve learned to use my skills in an honest and responsible manner to get the job done right and when I’m finished, it will look as good as new.
It doesn’t matter what the time period is so all I care about is to keep it clean. It’s not that hard to clean up after your job, but it’s not the same thing as cleaning up after your car or getting out of someone’s house. We don’t even try to clean up after our car.
It’s funny how we all have a lot of “clean up” projects that we keep going on all the time. This is because the more we think about things, the more we create. The fact is that cleaning up a mess is a very similar process to cleaning up a car. You start off by checking for oil, then you start by checking for oil, and then checking for oil.
This is what gets me. I have a small collection of cars that I bought used from friends that have never been serviced. Each owner put the car in the garage for a few years and then let it go on its own. The engine wasn’t in good working order, so I had to give it a big cleaning. I had to clean up the oil level, remove some rust, and even had to wash the undercarriage.
The first thing that I had to do after cleaning the engine, was to clean the oil filter. Because I was cleaning the engine, I had to clean the oil filter too. Just by cleaning the oil filter, the engine was no longer the worst candidate for engine failure. I ended up needing to refill the oil a few times because the engine was making a “ping” sound when I removed the oil.
I also took a few pictures of the engine because I wanted to make sure I could tell the difference between the oil level and not.
In the end, I have to admit I have no idea how the oil level is determined by the engine. It’s probably a complicated system, but I’m pretty sure that if the oil level is low, the engine is running properly.
