There are a lot of great cards in League of Legends, and with the addition of new expansions every couple months there is always another powerful card on the horizon. But some cards stand out more than others as being stronger or weaker than other cards. In this article, we will go over what makes these high-rarity and legendary cards so special and give you a list for all 18 currently available legendaries!
This is a comprehensive guide to every Legendary, Rare and High-Rarity card in the game. The list includes all cards from Base Set through Sun & Moon. This will be an ongoing project that I will continue adding more information to as time goes on. The list will include the card name, rarity, and a short description.
For high rarities we’ve included what type of champion it is best suited for as well as whether or not you should use this card in your main deck or sideboard.
Lists are ordered by how powerful each individual card feels when played on its own without any synergies.
The higher up on the list a card appears, the more powerful they feel relative to other cards at that same level of rarity.
When building decks with certain cards there may be synergy benefits which could make them better than another tier below them depending on play style preferences; these have been noted and explained where possible under “Synergies”
Cards have been included from all of the main sets and a few other key box releases that are important for certain play styles.
This means there will be no cards in this list which come exclusively or mostly from special event packs such as Clash of Clan’s set, Janna Kael’thas Sunstrider Adventure Pack, etc.
When referencing synergies with certain champion abilities/cards we will use an asterisk (*). This is not necessarily to indicate they are better than others at their tier but rather just more suited towards those types of decks.
The ultimate card guide: A comprehensive list of legendaries and high rarity cards by power level To give you some insight on how powerful these rarer cards are, we’re going to rank them based on a power level from one through five with one being the lowest and five being the highest.
Rarity: The rarity of these cards is ranked by A – F (from most common to least).
Power Level: This ranking system will be an estimate for how powerful each card is in relation to others at their respective tier. Cards within tiers may not always have identical power levels but this should give you some perspective when looking at higher or lower tiered cards.
Tier One (the best) includes all Legendary and Mythic Rares; Tier Two contains Epics and Rare Holo’s; Tier Three consists of Uncommon Holo’s, Commons, and Promotional cards; Tier Four contains all Uncommon Promos, and Tier Five consists of cards that are only available in chests.
A:Liliana Vess (Legendary), Divine Favor (Epic)
B: Moment of Courage (Rare Holo), Rebuke (Uncommon Promo)
C: Rumble Rammus (Promotional), Face Smasher Ziggs(Promotional)
Tier One – The best tier includes all Legendary and Mythic Rare Cards. These higher tiered cards have the most power because they can be played in any deck with no restrictions to their use. This is where you’ll find champions like Evelynn or Jax who will fit into almost any style of deck because of their versatile abilities.
D: Odyn, the Banisher (Legendary), Azir, Emperor of the Sands(Mythic Rare)
E: Axe-Admiral Kraken (Epic)
F: Stoneback Shellman(Rare Holo)
Tier Two – Contains Epics and Rare Holo’s. Tier two is where you’ll find champions like Garen or Morgana who have strong cards with powerful effects but are not considered to be very versatile for a deck composition.
