I agree that putting it into the schedule is a good idea, but putting the schedule first is even better because it gives you a better idea of what your cleaning schedule is going to be like. If you aren’t familiar with the schedule, or have a bad memory of it, it may take you longer to figure out what to do, but you’ll be better prepared for the types of cleaning that you will need to do.
We actually do do a lot of cleaning in our office. There are specific rooms in that office that I go to every day because they are the ones that I need to clean. There are a couple of rooms that I need to clean twice a week because there are a lot of papers, pictures, etc that need to be removed. That time we are also preparing our office for a new owner.
The other thing to remember is that it can take a few days of cleaning to get the hang of it. Master cleaning schedules should be short, they should not be full-blown, and they should never be full of things that you are not sure of. A few things you should never mess with are toilet paper and plastic. I mean, who wants to be cleaning out a toilet? I’m sure they could use some of this.
I’m a fan of short master cleaning schedules. I love the idea of cleaning a house in less than 24 hours. When I got rid of the house that was more than 24 hours, I noticed the mess around the house was not the house, but myself. I think we tend to clean when we feel like it and not when we actually feel like it.
